Less than 24 hours after teasing a special event on Instagram live, Louis the Child have followed-up their Red Rocks announcement with an August show at The Brooklyn Mirage in New York City.
The Chicago-duo is going all out for this stop on their Here for Now 2020 tour, enlisting the help of The Knocks, What So Not, Elderbrook, and fellow Chicago-natives Win and Woo. The “Don’t Mind” producers will also be performing a rare “LTC Playground set,” which Robbie Hauldren described as a “freestyle set” compared to the live show being brought on tour.
Keeping it local, Louis the Child have also teamed up with Chicago rap veterans The Cool Kids on their new track, “Bag It Up.” A departure from the melodic sound of their producers’ recent singles, the minimalistic beat on the collaboration is the perfect canvas for verses from Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish.
The Cool Kids performed are no strangers to the dance music duo, performing this past November on the first night of Louis the Child’s annual Friendsgiving show.
