The classic house sound never fails to satisfy. At least it won’t with producers like Solardo and Eli Brown around. On their latest collaborative single “My Life,” Brown and Solardo channel the timeless elements of club-primed house music to craft an immediately recognizable track: syncopated synth hits, soulful vocals, and quintessential percussive elements building the four-on-the-floor beat.
“My Life” marks the first release of 2020 for both acts after wildly successful 2019 campaigns from each. Manchester duo Solardo assisted on both “Free Your Body” and “Move Your Body” last year, each of which quickly rose to success on Beatport and clubs everywhere. Meanwhile, Eli Brown released a seemingly endless supply of house heaters last year, proving that he will be a dance music force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future. But of course, both acts’ years were capped off by their hit collaboration “XTC,” another retro-inspired house track that confirms Solardo with Eli Brown is always a winning formula.
