Amnesia Ibiza is set to conclude its landmark 50th-anniversary season on October 10 with an ambitious 20-hour marathon. The event promises to transform the club’s iconic grounds into an immersive open-air festival before transitioning indoors across three distinct rooms, keeping the energy alive until noon the following day. The expansive lineup features over 25 world-class artists, including Joseph Capriati, Josh Baker, Groove Armada, Deborah De Luca, Max Dean, Nina Kraviz, and Klangkuenstler.
The anticipation for this milestone event reached a fever pitch, with tickets selling out in under three hours. Notably, this rapid sellout occurred without a single artist being announced, a testament to the enduring legacy and trust Amnesia has cultivated over its five decades in the industry. For a venue that has consistently prioritized the quality of the dancefloor experience over mere spectacle, this level of demand underscores its status as a pillar of electronic music culture.
A Legacy of Ibiza Nightlife
The festivities commence at 17:00 with an open-air festival segment, marking a return to the venue’s roots of outdoor dancing. The afternoon will feature sets from Luca Donzelli, followed by back-to-back performances from Alisha and Julian Fijma, Groove Armada and Max Dean, and Kolter and Traumer, culminating in a sunset set by Joseph Capriati.
As night falls, the celebration moves inside, introducing a new space dubbed El Taller, hosted by residents Jason Bye, Les Schmitz, and Franco Moiraghi. The Main Room will focus on high-octane techno, featuring performances by Deborah De Luca, Estella Boersma, Future666, Katnada, Klangkuenstler, and Nina Kraviz. Meanwhile, the legendary Terrace will host a stacked roster including Caal, Mar-T, and various collaborative sets from Enzo Siragusa, Saoirse, Luke Dean, Locky, Marco Faraone, Obskür, and Sidney Charles. The season will officially draw to a close with a sunrise back-to-back set from Joseph Capriati and Josh Baker.
Amnesia has remained a foundational element of the Ibiza scene since 1976. By splitting the closing party into two distinct chapters, the venue honors its history while continuing to evolve. This 50th-anniversary celebration serves as a powerful reminder of why the club remains a global destination for dance music enthusiasts.
