Cloonee and Prospa are back together on record. The UK-born, LA-based house DJ and the UK duo have released their new single ‘Good Girl,’ a follow-up to last year’s ‘Free Your Mind’ that’s already shaping up to be a festival-season staple.
The track traces its origins back to Miami Music Week this past March, with the six days of nonstop shows and studio sessions bleeding into the record’s DNA. ‘Good Girl’ features vocals from UK singer-songwriter Tristan Henry alongside spoken word from Melynda Randal, layered over a pulsing, bass-heavy production that feels built for peak-time sets rather than radio play.
With festival season underway, ‘Good Girl’ arrives right as both acts head into a packed summer of tour dates. Cloonee’s schedule alone reads like a world tour, hitting Day Trip Festival in Seattle, Shambhala in British Columbia, Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos, ANTS at Ushuaia in Ibiza, and a Hellbent takeover at Brooklyn Army Terminal, before continuing into fall stops at ARC Music Festival, Breakaway Carolina, III Points, and Marco Carola’s Music On in Ibiza.
Who Is Cloonee?
Born in the UK and now based in LA, Cloonee has built his name on records like ‘The Ciggie’ and the Beatport chart-topper ‘Be Good To Me,’ along with ‘Free Your Mind,’ his Circoloco-approved team-up with Prospa. He’s since become a fixture at major venues and festivals including Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Hi Ibiza, Ushuaia, UNVRS, Brooklyn Mirage, LIV Las Vegas, Music On, Paradise, ANTS, and elrow, and has sold out headline shows at venues like Red Rocks and LA’s City Market.
Beyond his own production and touring, Cloonee runs Hellbent Records and a companion clothing line, both of which have become part of his broader footprint in house music — an artist as invested in scene-building as he is in chart positions.
