Electronic music luminaries Colyn and Sainte Vie have officially unveiled their long-awaited collaborative single, ‘Desert Sunrise.’ A track that has become a staple in their live sets over the past year, this release marks a significant milestone for both artists as they blend their signature melodic sensibilities into a singular, evocative soundscape.
The journey of ‘Desert Sunrise’ began during the preparation for a sunrise set at Burning Man 2025. Reflecting on the creative process, the duo shared, “We wrote this track while preparing for our Maxa x Mayan Warrior sunrise set. After sharing a sunrise set together the year before, we wanted to compose a special intro for this unforgettable moment and capture the feeling of a sunrise in the desert. Some songs become the soundtrack to moments you’ll never forget, and this has been one of those for us.”
A Sonic Representation of Festival Magic
The track serves as a sonic bridge between the intensity of the night and the clarity of the dawn. By utilizing a growling bass synth layered beneath resonant, melodic themes, the production creates an atmosphere that feels both expansive and intimate. The inclusion of euphoric, progressive chords paired with a poignant spoken vocal provides a life-affirming quality that has resonated deeply with fans since the track’s initial debut during a B3B performance with Innellea at Burning Man 2024.
Following its successful run as a “secret weapon” in their individual performances, including a standout appearance at Tomorrowland 2026 on the Planaxis stage, the track is now available to the public. Released via Interstellar Recordings, ‘Desert Sunrise’ stands as a testament to the enduring creative chemistry between these two respected figures in the melodic house and techno scene.
