Hidden away on the shores of Utah’s Great Salt Lake, Das Energi Festival is quickly evolving from a local secret into a powerhouse of the electronic music scene. Located at the historic Great Saltair, just 15 miles outside of Salt Lake City, the event has undergone a massive transformation since its humble one-day origins in 2012. Now officially expanded into a sprawling three-day experience, the festival is firmly cementing its reputation as one of the best-kept secrets in the industry—and it is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
As Utah’s largest event of the year, Das Energi is the undeniable pinnacle for local ravers and electronic music fans across neighboring states. Organized by V2 Presents alongside MASV Music Group, the festival features a truly distinctive setting. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Great Salt Lake with sunsets washing over the surrounding mountains, the desert site transforms into a neon-lit sanctuary as night falls, surrounding attendees in driving beats and a high-energy atmosphere.
Expansion and Production Upgrades
With the addition of a third day in 2026 came a fourth stage. Joining the original lineup—the indoor Synergy stage and the two main outdoor stages, Energi Field and Galactic: The Awakening—was the new Boomba Sound Car stage, positioned near the merch booths at the back of the venue. The weekend’s standout upgrade was the total redesign of Galactic: The Awakening, which featured a striking eye-shaped stage structure enhanced with upgraded fire cannons and immersive visuals.
A Diverse Musical Landscape
The festival delivered a well-rounded lineup across all three days. Friday was packed with major headliners including Zedd, Seven Lions, Chris Lorenzo, Cloonee, Wooli, Westend, Laszewo, Sidequest, Layton Giordani, and Sippy, making stage choices tough for attendees. While Saturday and Sunday featured fewer massive headliners, they still delivered high-caliber sets from must-see acts like Levity b2b Crankdat, Devault, Know Good, Effin, Ganja White Night, Ian Asher, Vandelux, Domina, and Gravedgr.
This edition proved to be a massive victory for V2 Presents and their flagship event. While 3-day loyalty tickets for 2027 quickly sold out to returning attendees, 3-day GA and VIP Early Bird tickets are currently available for those looking to experience the magic next year.
