Drumcode’s acclaimed EP series, DC4, continues its impressive run with the release of its fourth volume. This latest edition serves as a collaborative feast, showcasing a diverse array of talent including Victor Ruiz & Alex Stein, Charles D & Weska featuring Bexxie, alongside debutants SCRIPT & OKAYVAL, and Martin Costas & Gabriel Gil.
A Collaborative Powerhouse
Since its inception in the summer of 2025, the DC4 series has consistently delivered high-caliber techno, and this latest volume is no exception. The EP opens with a masterclass in production from Victor Ruiz and Alex Stein. The Brazilian duo, known for their long-standing studio partnership, delivers 'Core'—a track defined by its intricate dramatic arc and brain-scrambling sound design.
Following this, Charles D and Weska reunite for 'Can’t Get Enough', featuring the captivating vocals of Bexxie. Bridging the gap between progressive house and techno, the track is anchored by low-slung, driving grooves that create an exhilarating energy, perfectly complemented by Bexxie's vocal performance.
New Voices on Drumcode
The EP also marks the label debut for SCRIPT and OKAYVAL. SCRIPT, an American artist currently gaining significant traction following a collaboration with ALOK, joins forces with OKAYVAL, a Colombian-born, US-based artist who has graced the stages of EDC Vegas and Tomorrowland this year. Their contribution, 'LIKE THAT', is a high-energy production characterized by sharp vocal loops and tight, rolling percussion.
Rounding out the collection, Martin Costas and Gabriel Gil present 'It’s All Around'. This track offers a pulsating, melodic take on progressive techno, utilizing lush textures and hypnotic rhythms that make it a versatile addition to any DJ set.
