Can you believe it was a year ago that Factory Town revealed its new era for the first time? It feels simultaneously like so long ago, but also not that long ago. Perhaps because this new era of Factory Town feels so complete that it’s hard to imagine it any other way now. In 2025, Factory Town completed a major renovation and revealed its new look for Hocus Pocus. Hocus Pocus 2026 just wrapped up, and Factory Town is truly firing on all cylinders.
The Theme

This might not be the first time that Hocus Pocus had a distinct theme, but it’s the first time that I really felt it. Factory Town became like an adult theme park in 2025, and this year the Insomniac team took full advantage of that. The entire space was decked out according to the theme, which was something along the lines of a scary factory with imposing machinery in it. Think of the aesthetics of The Machines in The Matrix movies. Nowhere was this more apparent than at the Infinity Room, which was decked out with a huge “reactor” machine above the stage which was cool as hell.
Over at The Park stage, the look was an abandoned factory of some kind with that LED wiring we’ve come to see over the past few years and suspended LED screen cubes. It looked similar in some respects to the newest version of Atmosphere at Tomorrowland. Meanwhile, The Chain Room featured fire shooting across the overhead beams as it became The Furnace. The Warehouse became a corrupted command center of this abandoned factory, and Cypress End got in on the fun as well.
The Music
The Hocus Pocus lineup had something for everyone, arguably exceeding the lineup at Insomniac’s own EDC Orlando a week later. Factory Town saw the debut of Eric Prydz, his first time performing at the venue since it opened way back in 2021. He did not hold back either, performing an energetic set of his deeper cuts on Friday night. Then Gorgon City closed it down in style.
Saturday night got a bit more intense as heavy rains swept in during Layton Giordani‘s killer set at the Infinity Room. In short order a tent was put up over the decks and the set continued. The Music and vibes over at The Park were impeccable on Saturday with Meduza playing the headline slot. Unfortunately, the downpours returned for Nora en Pure and convinced some people to go home, but she soldiered on with the chill vibes, while over at Infinity Room the deluge didn’t stop Prospa from crushing it until sunrise as daylight savings came to an end.
Sunday night at Factory Town brought an unforgettable conclusion to Hocus Pocus 2026, featuring massive headlining performances and collaborative sets across the venue’s immersive stages. Headliners Chase & Status tore through a high-energy set at The Park, while the Infinity Room played host to stellar pairings like Jamie Jones B2B Franky Rizardo and Odd Mob B2B Cassian, alongside a standout performance from Jayda G. Further across the grounds, fans caught heavy-hitting underground beats from artists like Indira Paganotto, Somewhen, and a warehouse takeover featuring a dynamic B2B set from Baauer and Hudson Mohawke, capping off a phenomenal final night.
The Verdict
One year after unveiling its massive renovation, Factory Town has proven that its ambitious transformation wasn’t just a fleeting upgrade—it was the blueprint for Miami’s premier nightlife destination. By marrying theme park-level dystopian production with world-class programming across five distinct stages, Hocus Pocus 2026 delivered an immersive experience few festivals anywhere can match. Whether navigating torrential downpours on Saturday or watching the sunrise break over Sunday’s final sets, the weekend solidified Factory Town as an unstoppable force heading into the busy fall season and Miami Art Week.
