The Desert Hearts Records record label has welcomed its newest additions, Gettoblaster and MADVILLA. The duo just dropped their introductory two-track EP, Tear Da Club Up.
The title track leads the EP and features vocals from the artist Missy. With a thumping four-to-the-floor beat, different iterations and samples of the track’s title sprinkled throughout the track, and various futuristic-sounding effects, this track is a seemingly never-ending dancefloor heater that will deliver on its name when it finally comes time to return to clubs again. The second track, “The Ground“, is a similarly club-ready tune with a hard-hitting bassline and repetition of the catchy vocal sample used. Both tracks are accompanied by extended mixes providing a great relief because it’s difficult to stop listening to either one of these tracks once they’re playing.
The duo behind Gettoblaster have taken their influence from the sounds of Chicago & Detroit’s underground scenes and blended it with modern day production to craft their own enticing house music. Having gained recognition from the likes of artists such as The Martinez Brothers, Patrick Topping, Claptone, and many more they are poised to continue making waves in the house music scene. Southern California-based artist MADVILLA currently resides in London and has shown that he’s a promising artist to watch this year and beyond. He has managed to land releases on labels such as Strictly Rhythm and Food Music and has gained support on his tracks from artists like Sidney Charles and Seb Zito.
