Canadian beat-maker Kaytranada has thankfully shared a new mix full of unreleased music in his attempt to salvage the dumpster fire that has been 2020.
The 40-minute or so mix was the for the launch of Mellow Mellow Radio, an initiative from frequent K collaborator Planet Giza. Info is pretty thin on the concept of the radio show but a quick listen to the episode and the output of both Planet Giza and Kaytranada would firmly point at it being home to bubble-gum soul, soft beats and lazy jazz cuts.
While we’re not expecting to hear these unreleased tracks anytime soon you can dive into what has been a prolific release schedule for Kaytranada. He’s bopped out a remix of Sade, shared original music with Aluna of AlunaGeorge and let slip his sophomore album at the tail end of 2019.
