KuCoin Transforms Tomorrowland With New 'Celestia' Stage

Tomorrowland has officially entered a major three-year strategic partnership with the global crypto platform KuCoin, solidifying the exchange’s role as the festival’s Official Exclusive Crypto Exchange and Crypto Payments Partner through 2028. This collaboration reached a high point during the second weekend of Tomorrowland Belgium, where the debut of the Celestia Stage offered attendees a unique, immersive environment.

The Vision Behind Celestia

The Celestia Stage was designed as a collaborative effort between the festival’s renowned creative team and KuCoin. According to Sabina Liu, Managing Director of KuCoin, the stage was never intended to be a simple branding exercise. Instead, it was built to foster a sense of community and curiosity. The stage served as a hub for world-class electronic acts, including performances by Mark Knight, Mr. Belt & Wezol, Belters Only, Bingo Players, Dada Life, Sander van Doorn, and a high-energy back-to-back set from Dannic and Dyro.

The Celestia Stage isn’t just sponsored by KuCoin—it was co-created to bring together technology, culture and community through a shared experience. This was never intended to be just a branded stage—it was a true creative collaboration between KuCoin and Tomorrowland. -Sabina Liu

Technological Integration and Future Outlook

Beyond the stage design, the partnership introduces several on-site activations aimed at enhancing the festival experience. Attendees encountered the “KuCoin Guardians,” interactive guides roaming the grounds, and participated in tests for the limited-edition KuCard, which facilitates seamless payments for food, drinks, and merchandise. Furthermore, the partnership bridged the gap for global fans by streaming official Tomorrowland sets directly through the KuCoin app.

Looking ahead, the collaboration is set to expand into future editions of Tomorrowland, including Tomorrowland Winter. The goal is to evolve the partnership annually, moving beyond traditional sponsorship to integrate digital assets and innovative payment solutions into the fabric of the festival journey. As Liu noted, the focus remains on building a long-term foundation that prioritizes community engagement and technological accessibility.
