LUM!X & SØLO unleash their ‘SECRETS’

In a blaze of creativity, Austrian hot shot LUM!X has teamed up with rising star SØLO to bring yet another 2021 dance anthem. ‘Secrets’ is the dreamed team-up between powerful big room drops, rolling triplet beats, and mesmerizing vocals – it’s old school rave in a startling new guise.

LUM!X has been coming on strong these last years. Known for his huge 2019 hit ‘Monster’ and last year’s gem ‘The Passenger (LaLaLa)’ (together with D.T.E and Eiffel 65’s Gabry Ponte), the Austrian tastemaker is by now renowned for his trademark dance vibes, strong hooks, and melodic approach.

Recently, he’s been on fire when it comes to new music, as he dropped the widely popular tune ‘Scare Me’ last year, a team-up with KSHMR and Gabry Ponte, followed up in 2021 by a rework of Peter Schilling’s 80’s classic ‘Major Tom’ and the fresh-sounding tune ‘Annie Are You Ok’, a collab with Norwegian artists Nick Strand and Mio.

And now, he’s joined forces with SØLO,’ to boldly take things further with the genre-crossing record ‘Secrets’. On the one hand, this is a big room house tune taking influences from the well-known Melbourne Bounce, with its mesmerizing vocals building towards the climax, followed by a series of power chords in the drop. On the other hand, the triplet-styled beats and vocal pitches take things to a next level, providing the song with a contemporary feel – 2021 rave style.

If possible, this record would blow away any festival crowd. It’s got the melody and pounding bass to do the job, as well as nicely rolling beats to keep things moving. ‘Secrets’ should therefore be considered a real DJ weapon, a peak-time crowdpleaser, in this case, destined to make waves on radio and streaming playlists.

Brace yourself, some tasty ‘Secrets’ are coming your way…

“Combining catchy vocals with a melodic instrumental leading into a bouncy festival drop, ‘Secrets’ has it all. The high energetic song is a reincarnation of the classic Melbourne Bounce genre, with the typical vocal chops and triplets alongside heavy bass sounds and groovy acoustic elements.” – LUM!X
