A New Chapter in Melodic Bass

Cinematic melodic bass artist NURKO — one of the scene’s most technically gifted producers — has officially released his new album Solstice. This 19-track debut body of work is built on emotional, melodic, and pop-driven bass music, showcasing the evolution of an artist who has spent years at the forefront of the genre. The album brings together a wide cast of cross-genre collaborators, including Kiesza, iann dior, Micah Martin, Casey Cook, Crystal Skies, Amidy, Monika Santucci, VNDETTA, and Stefan PVDS.

NURKO’s rise to prominence is well-documented, bolstered by his collaboration with ILLENIUM and Valerie Broussard on the hit track “Sideways,” which reached the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic chart and has amassed over 40 million streams. Following his acclaimed 2022 debut EP Arrival, which propelled him onto his first headlining tour, Solstice represents a significant milestone in his career.

Themes of Resilience and Growth

Centered on the concept of turning toward the light, Solstice navigates the complexities of emotional transition, resilience, and personal growth. The record explores the tension between light and dark, weaving together themes of healing, heartbreak, hope, and grief that have defined NURKO’s signature sound. To support the release, the artist will embark on a full album-themed tour beginning in March 2027, with stops in major cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, and New York.

The Thrive Together Initiative

Beyond the music, the release of Solstice marks the launch of Thrive Together, a mental health initiative founded by NURKO. Operating under the banner “Healing through music. Together,” the project aims to help fans feel less isolated. By integrating benefit concerts, awareness activations, and storytelling, the initiative seeks to turn the emotional connection found in music into tangible real-world support.

A Legacy of Sound

New York-based Jack Leech, known as NURKO, has long blended classical training with a passion for electronic subgenres. From early singles like “Goodbye” and “Your Embrace” to his high-profile remix of Halsey‘s “Without Me,” he has consistently demonstrated his ability to craft deeply resonant soundscapes. With his signing to Astralwerks and the success of his previous EPs Arrival and Discovery, NURKO continues to solidify his status as a pivotal figure in modern electronic music.
