Ship Wrek and Dillon Francis combine talents on ‘It’s My House’

After adding his gritty, warehouse bass spin to Sofi Tukker‘s “Purple Hat,” Dillon Francis is back again this week with a catchy, percussive deep house hitter from Ship Wrek’s new Mirror Mirror project.

In Francis’ hilarious fashion, the track begins with an ornery neighbor’s phone call to turn the music down, to which the protagonist replies “it’s my house,” ignoring the initial request. The respondent-heightened house vocals curtail into a blasting groover of heavily syncopated percussion through a heavy house beat. The second drop carries a bit more weight with slicing synths.

Aside from the previous two projects mentioned, Francis also released a veriety of remixes to his Magic Is Real project, with smackers from Black Car, Beauty Brain, Shndō, King Arthur, and Kevin Aleksander.
