Since the beginning of construction, the MSG Sphere has created a buzz like no other in the entertainment world. A few weeks back, on July 4th, the megastructure’s exterior came to life for the very first time, mesmerizing everyone that could catch a glimpse of it. Fast forward to today and we have some images of what the $2.3 billion Sphere looks like on the inside.
At a towering 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, it’s both the world’s biggest spherical structure and largest LED screen. The Sphere’s interior reportedly contains the world’s highest-resolution wraparound LED screen. Here is a quick glimpse of what it looks like right now :
Canadian producer Rezz caught wind of these images and immediately expressed her desire to perform at the futuristic venue.
The next steps involved the completion of the 730-ton steel framework. Surely, more images will surface in the upcoming weeks, as the opening night is approaching quickly. In fact, on September 29, U2 will perform in the venue for the first of 25 sold-out shows extending into December.
