Wasteland Festival Announces Debut Orlando Edition for 2027

Wasteland Festival is officially expanding its reach, bringing its signature high-BPM experience to the East Coast for the very first time. Insomniac has announced the inaugural Wasteland Orlando, scheduled to take place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds on Friday, February 5, and Saturday, February 6, 2027. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the brand, introducing its dedicated hard dance world to a new region of the country.

A New Hub for Hard Dance

The Orlando debut is set to be an immersive experience, spanning three newly designed stages. Attendees can expect a curated lineup featuring more than 40 artists representing the best of hardstyle, hard techno, and hardcore. Insomniac is leveraging its deep industry connections to ensure a world-class production, incorporating stage takeovers from its own renowned imprints, Basscon and Mutate. These brands have long been the pillars of hard dance programming at major festivals like EDC Las Vegas, and their presence in Florida signals a major commitment to the genre’s growth.

Adding to the international flair, the festival will also feature a stage takeover produced and hosted by the German promoter Unreal Germany. Known for their influence within Europe’s hardstyle and hardcore circuits, their involvement promises to bring an authentic, high-intensity European sound to the Central Florida scene.

Expanding the Insomniac Footprint

Wasteland has successfully established itself in Southern California as a premier destination for ravers who gravitate toward relentless tempos and the harder end of the dance music spectrum. By bringing the festival to Orlando, Insomniac is making its first major attempt at establishing that same community on the East Coast. This move slots perfectly into the promoter’s growing footprint of events across Florida, further solidifying the state as a vital hub for electronic music.

Fans eager to secure their spot at this inaugural event can look forward to the ticket release. Two-day general admission and VIP passes will be available for presale starting Thursday, August 13, at 11:30 a.m. ET / 8:30 a.m. PT, with the general on-sale following at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT.
