Never seen before footage of Daft Punks ‘Alive’ tour and colossal pyramid from 2007 has hit the internet thanks to some dedicated superfans.
Daft Punk fans really are on another level when it comes to uncovering every slither of content based around the French producers. Case in point never seen before footage of Daft Punk performing at a short-lived Halloween festival called Vegoose in Nevada in Las Vegas. The festival ended in 2007 with organisers later focusing their efforts on the newly minted Outside Lands Festival.
The festival boasted a pretty serious final lineup that year with Daft Punk performing alongside Rage Against The Machine, Iggy & the Stooges, M.I.A, Infected Mushroom and plenty more.
As the title of the video suggests, this was footage spliced together from three different recordings in the crowd while the robots blasted through their instant hits including “Robot Rock”, “One More Time” and “Human After All”.
Even though the footage isn’t perfect and due to a pesky worldwide block on “Technologic” a slight section is muted, you can still feel the energy of what is likely, a once in a lifetime tour!
