Whethan went quiet towards the end of 2019, re-blooming his debut EP with some remixes, yet laying low on socials and original music. He acknowledged the radio silence and started the new year with new single “Stay Forever“, tying in a long-awaited debut album announce. Now, the delivery of his forthcoming FANTASY LP is only a matter of time.
Having brought in indie group STRFKR—one of the producer’s favorite artists—on the first single, the Wallflower has followed up with another genre-bending feature on “All In My Head,” reeling in acclaimed alt-rock singer-songwriter grandson. As the second lead to his upcoming project, the song combines grandson’s influences with Whethan’s structured production, including a bold, guitar driven bass-line, and distortion-galore on the synths.
Whethan will unveil his new FANTASY set at Ultra Music Festival 2020 and embark on a North American headline tour shortly after, starting at LA’s The Novo on March 26. Purchase tickets here.
