Given the high-profile names attached to this track, expectations for “All My Life” were understandably high. With Frank Walker continuing a strong run of emotional Future and Progressive House blends, and the inclusion of John Martin—a vocalist synonymous with the golden era of Swedish House Mafia—it was easy to anticipate a modern anthem on the scale of “Don’t You Worry Child.”
However, the involvement of Timmy Trumpet added a layer of uncertainty. While not a reflection of his individual talent, such crossover collaborations often risk feeling overly calculated. Despite the potential for a massive, enduring dance track, the final product is a clean, radio-friendly Future House tune that ultimately plays it safe.
The vocal performance remains a highlight. John Martin delivers that signature uplifting tone that brings immediate warmth to the production. The buildup is equally effective, utilizing sweet chords and building emotional tension that feels reminiscent of classic progressive house. Unfortunately, the drop fails to deliver the same impact.
While there is a clear, Don Diablo-inspired wobbling bassline, it is paired with a high-pitched lead that gives the track a distinct character. It is certainly creative enough to avoid being a generic festival drop, yet the magic never fully materializes. Everything is technically sound—the production is polished and the ideas are competent—but the emotional resonance expected from such a powerhouse collaboration is missing. “All My Life” is an enjoyable listen, but it stops short of being truly unforgettable.
