Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) delivered one of the most memorable nights of the 30th edition of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) this past weekend. On Saturday, October 24, 40,000 fans packed a sold-out Johan Cruijff ArenA for AMF 2026, a high-energy spectacle that lasted until 6:00 AM and solidified the festival’s reputation as the flagship event for Insomniac Europe.
This year’s lineup showcased an impressive breadth of electronic music styles. Artists including Afrojack, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, ARTBAT, D-Block & S-te-Fan, David Guetta, Korolova, and Marlon Hoffstadt delivered performances that spanned melodic techno, peak-time techno, house, trance, and hardstyle, keeping the energy levels high throughout the night.

The centerpiece of the evening was David Guetta presents Monolith, an ambitious production concept that transformed the stadium into a unified, immersive stage. By utilizing the entire floor and seating bowl, the production created a continuous visual experience that perfectly complemented Guetta’s set.
For those unable to attend in person, the festival provided global access through a live stream, alongside broadcasts from official partners Radio 538 and Fun Radio.
“Seeing 40,000 people come together inside the Johan Cruijff ArenA to celebrate 30 years of ADE was truly special,” said Dennis de Bruin, General Manager at Insomniac Europe. “Selling out a stadium is never a given, and Saturday showed what happens when an incredible lineup meets a crowd like ours. Thank you to every fan, artist, partner and crew member who made this night possible.”
Armin van Buuren, a long-time staple of the AMF stage, noted the significance of this year’s anniversary. “AMF has been part of my story for many years, and this one felt extra special,” he remarked. “Presenting Dance Department live from the venue and then playing to a packed ArenA during the 30th edition of ADE is the kind of night you don’t forget.”
