Icon Collective’s Black Voices Scholarship is a new artist fund supporting Black students attending the music school. Three students will receive a scholarship of $19,500 to help offset school expenses. The scholarship focuses on three separate categories including production, singing (vocalists) and business (entrepreneurs). Their efforts come in response to Black Lives Matter to help create more opportunities for Black creatives within the music industry.

Our responsibility is to nurture and aid the next generation of music creatives and professionals with an inclusive educational environment. After years of turning out successful graduates from our programs, it became abundantly clear that Black artists have been severely underrepresented within ICON. We understand we need to make a conscious effort to change.

Past Students at ICON Collective
The nationally accredited music production school based in Los Angeles is home to some music heavyweights. Jauz, Yultron and NGHTMRE are all alumni of the music production school. The electronic duo BONNIE X CLYDE (Daniel Litman and Paige Lopynski) have also walked the halls and earned their cap from Icon. They have recently rebranded with a new creative direction. The electronic alt-pop duo recently released “Atypical” a song about living unapologetically and embracing the good, bad and ugly. The song was co-penned by pop songwriters Melanie Fontana & Lindgren.
