B Jones Faces New Cancer Battle Following Tomorrowland Comeback

Spanish DJ and producer B Jones has revealed that her cancer has returned, just months after a celebrated, emotional comeback performance on Tomorrowland’s Mainstage. In an update shared to Instagram from a hospital bed in Madrid, the artist announced that doctors have detected a new lymphoma, located in a different area of her head.

“IT WASN’T THE END,” she wrote. “Not long ago, I shared one of the happiest moments of my life with you: I had beaten cancer. After months of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, I finally believed everything was behind me and that a new chapter was starting. But shortly after, life dealt another blow.”

The diagnosis marks a heartbreaking turn following what had been one of the summer’s most inspiring dance music moments. After going public with her lymphatic cancer diagnosis earlier in the year and undergoing aggressive treatment, Jones was declared cancer-free just in time to play Tomorrowland. She took to the festival’s iconic Mainstage in a wheelchair, performing an emotional set that included bringing her twin sister Elena on stage to debut their single “Resist.” Her team had subsequently organized a fundraiser to help cover the extensive costs of her recovery, including rehabilitation from hip surgery and ongoing physical therapy.

Despite the abrupt setback, Jones emphasized her resolve to confront the illness head-on once again:

“Accepting that this wasn’t over yet, after having been through so much and believing I could finally start recovering, has been incredibly hard. But here I am, processing it and gathering strength to face a new battle. I won’t say it’s easy, because it isn’t. But I still have hope, the desire to live, and so much to fight for. It’s time to start over. Once more. Because this story isn’t over yet.”

Her announcement was met with an immediate outpouring of support from fans, friends, and fellow artists across the electronic music community, including messages of solidarity from Kryder, Indira Paganotto, Blasterjaxx, and DJ Nano.
