The label mau5trap, owned by the famous DJ and producer deadmau5, just released a refreshing, melodic techno remix of his legendary track ‘Not Exactly’. The chart-topping DJ/producer Rebūke worked on this new version, and it’s amazing!
You’ll be happy to know that Rebūke‘s “Not Exactly” is the first official remix of the song that mau5trap has released in 17 years! Other artists that put their own spin on the track include Peter Gelderblom, Trick & Kubic, Jean-Claude Ades, and Major North. The original song was released as a single in 2007. It appeared on deadmau5’s third album, random album title, in 2008. The nine-minute and fifteen-second instrumental was an early success for the newly-formed mau5trap. It has won the Beatport Music Award for ‘Best Single,’ and charting on the US Dance/Electronic Digital Sales Song Chart two years after its release.
