First Listen: BENZI and TWINSICK take on Phoenix hit ‘1901’ with new remix [Stream]

Is there anything BENZI won’t remix?

The venerated DJ has built a career on making the most in-demand bootlegs, edits, and remixes around, keeping your favorite DJ’s digital crates stocked at all times with some of the nastiest setlist weapons around. From hip-hop crossover cuts to indie gems, there’s seemingly nothing BENZI won’t touch. His latest project comes as a joint effort with TWINSICK on a remix of Phoenix‘s “1901” from the band’s 2009 LP Wolfgang Amadeus┬áPhoenix.

The new remix lands fresh off the heels of BENZI’s most recent DUDE TRAPZ installment, and also serves as the first drop from his upcoming GIRL TRAPZ 17 mixtape. Both series can now be found on Spotify. As for the new remix, the SiriusXM selector and TWINSICK give a fresh perspective on Phoenix’s first charting material in the American market, making for another characteristically clean remix to add to BENZI’s ever-expansive rap sheet.
