“LOST”: A Cinematic Debut That Hits Hard with Emotion

It is rare to see a debut track land with this much weight behind it, but GUYONZZ is clearly not messing around. “LOST” is an intense, cinematic piece of melodic dubstep that leans heavily into emo rock territory, and honestly, it is the kind of sound design that grabs you immediately.

The core of this track is the vocal work from Micah Martin. I have been listening to him for years, and his voice just has a way of cutting through a mix when the subject matter gets heavy. He tells a personal story here about losing someone and the spiral of self-destruction that follows, eventually moving toward a version of growth. The performance is raw and feels lived-in, perfectly supported by a bassline that provides a grounded, moody foundation for the breakdown.

I also have to mention the visuals. This release comes with a spectacular music video featuring VFX work from a professional team (they were behind The Conjuring: Last Rites and the Netflix One Piece adaptation). It is rare to see an artist put this much effort into the visual world-building right out of the gate, and it definitely adds to the experience.

But focusing on the audio, the drop of “LOST” is where things really ignite. It feels like an Illenium-quality piece, but with a darker, grittier essence that separates it from the pack. The way the bass growls and fluctuates actually sounds like it is mimicking the pain and suffering of the lyrics. It is a cohesive, high-stakes track that feels like a genuine work of art across every element. If this is the starting point for GUYONZZ, I am definitely keeping an eye on what comes next.
