Oliver Heldens and Will Clarke Rework 'Lost In Music'

Electronic music heavyweights Oliver Heldens and Will Clarke have joined forces to deliver a fresh, club-ready rework of the disco classic ‘Lost In Music’. The collaboration, which officially lands on October 1 via Charlotte de Witte‘s Epoque label, marks a rare and highly anticipated intersection between two of the scene’s most prolific producers.

Despite their long-standing friendship and shared history on the global festival circuit, the pair has rarely collaborated in the studio. Both artists have built massive individual legacies; Heldens, the Dutch visionary behind the future house movement, has successfully expanded his reach through his HI-LO techno alias and Heldeep Records. Meanwhile, Bristol-born producer Will Clarke has carved out a distinct niche with his genre-blurring approach to house and bass, balancing his own UNIT(E) imprint with high-profile releases on labels like Insomniac Records.

The decision to release this track on Epoque is particularly significant. Charlotte de Witte launched the label to explore a more melodic and groove-driven sound, distinct from the harder-edged aesthetic of her primary imprint, Kntxt. By signing a disco-infused collaboration from two of the industry’s most respected figures, Epoque continues to demonstrate its commitment to sonic diversity.

While Sister Sledge’s 1979 original has been reimagined countless times, Heldens and Clarke have managed to breathe new life into the track. Their version preserves the essential disco DNA of the original while filtering it through a contemporary, high-energy club framework designed for the big room. Having already road-tested the track in their recent headline sets, the duo has confirmed that the crowd response is more than enough to justify this official release.
