Reinier Zonneveld, Nicky Romero and CERES have joined forces on a new single called ‘Party‘, released via Zonneveld’s own Filth On Acid imprint. It’s an unusual pairing on paper—three artists from fairly distinct corners of the electronic music world—but the track leans into that contrast rather than smoothing it over.
Zonneveld has spent the last several years establishing himself as one of the more relentless figures in Dutch techno, known as much for his marathon live sets as for his production output. Filth On Acid has become the outlet for his rawer, harder-edged material, and this single fits comfortably within that lane while still making room for his two collaborators’ sensibilities.
Nicky Romero needs less introduction. The Dutch producer has been a fixture of the big-room and progressive house scene for over a decade, with a catalogue of festival anthems and his own label, Protocol Recordings, backing him. His involvement here nudges ‘Party’ toward more melodic, mainstage-ready territory even as the hard dance elements keep things aggressive.
Rounding out the trio is CERES, a Brazilian artist who has built a following through a genre-crossing sound that draws from house, bass and pop influences. She’s become one of Brazil’s most-streamed electronic acts, and her vocal turn on ‘Party’ is what ties the track’s harder instrumental elements together.
The single arrives on Filth On Acid with both an extended mix and a radio edit, giving DJs and radio programmers two different ways to work it into their sets.
