Zombie Apocalypse 2027 Announced for Queen Mary Waterfront

Insomniac’s Zombie Apocalypse has locked in its 2027 dates just days after wrapping its 2026 edition. The bass music festival returns to the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach, CA on Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19, 2027.

The 2026 festival marked the first time Zombie Apocalypse ran as a two-day event in the summer season, and the quick turnaround announcement suggests Insomniac is moving to cement it as an annual summer fixture at the Long Beach waterfront.

Reflecting on the 2026 Experience

The opening night featured Space Laces, Zomboy, and Sullivan King on the Apocalypse Arena stage, with the night closing out via Skull Machine—the Black Tiger Sex Machine and Kai Wachi collab project—and a B2B between Excision and Wooli. Over at the Zombieland Citadel, Caspa and Peekaboo went back-to-back before Borgore and the Bear Grillz + Bad News Bears pairing wrapped things up.

Day two brought YDG performing the official 2026 anthem on the Apocalypse Arena stage, followed by Subtronics. The Quarantine Zone stage leaned hard into drum & bass, with sets from Sota, Hybrid Minds, Goddard, Grafix B2B Subsonic, and Tantrum Desire. Experimental bass and underground fare came via Fly, Taiki Nulight, Distinct Motive, Ivy Lab, and Truth.
