For many artists, the process of releasing a new single begins and ends in the digital realm. However, Solardo is taking a decidedly different approach to their latest musical offering. Released via Blanc, their new track ‘Freedom‘ arrives alongside a series of high-profile promotional activations that include a gold Lamborghini procession, a pop-up event at Garden in BOXPARK Liverpool, and immersive 360-degree content.
This release marks another significant collaboration with Blanc, a platform that has successfully evolved from a Manchester-based house and techno blog into a multifaceted music powerhouse spanning editorial, events, and a record label. The campaign also features a partnership with AU Vodka, whose signature gold branding is prominently integrated throughout the rollout.
The campaign is designed to reflect the core themes of the track, which explores the concepts of escapism and human connection. By extending the release beyond the music itself, Solardo has crafted a campaign that emphasizes live experiences and community engagement.
A Decade of Dance Music Excellence
The Manchester duo, comprised of Mark Richards and James Eliot, has spent the past decade establishing Solardo as one of the most recognizable names in house music. Over the years, they have collaborated with and remixed tracks for some of the biggest names in dance music, including Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, and Carl Cox.
Beyond their own productions, they have successfully developed Sola Records into one of the genre’s leading independent labels. Their roster of supported artists includes notable names such as CamelPhat, Cloonee, SOSA, ANOTR, and Ben Hemsley.
Ultimately, this project was built around the goal of creating something that celebrates the sense of community and connection that dance music continues to inspire globally. ‘Freedom‘ is available now via Blanc on all major streaming platforms.
