The wait is finally over for one of dance music’s most sought-after festival IDs. Odd Mob and FAST BOY have officially released their collaboration ‘Super High’, out now via October Records. The track had been circulating in rip form since surfacing in mainstage sets earlier this year, turning it into one of those elusive records fans could hear live but not actually stream.
The release lands right as Odd Mob kicks off his biggest headline run around Australia to date. The tour opens at Melbourne’s Timber Yard on Saturday, September 19, before stops in Perth, Brisbane, and Adelaide, wrapping up at Sydney’s Roundhouse on Saturday, October 10.
Odd Mob, the Brisbane-born producer known for hopping between club-focused house and more pop-leaning crossover work, has spent the better part of a year teasing ‘Super High’ in festival sets. 1001tracklists helped fuel the hunt, flagging the ID during his Tomorrowland main stage set as tastemakers tried to piece together who was behind it.
The final version blends Odd Mob’s club-oriented production with FAST BOY’s pop instincts, landing somewhere between a straightforward house cut and a radio-ready hook. Odd Mob, real name Harry Hope, described the record as an attempt to sit between pop and EDM. “This song feels like endless summer,” he said. “It makes you wanna have a few cheeky bevs, watch the sunset and hang out with your mates. I’ve been wanting to do something that rides the line of pop and EDM for a minute and I’m stoked with how this one turned out!”
FAST BOY, the German brother duo made up of Felix and Lucas Hain, have built a reputation as one of Europe’s more reliable hitmaking outfits. Their breakout came via ‘Bad Memories’ alongside MEDUZA, which topped airplay charts in seven countries. Since then they’ve worked with Tiesto, David Guetta, Topic, and Robin Schulz, and remain fixtures at festivals including Tomorrowland and Parookaville.
For Odd Mob, ‘Super High’ caps a stretch of momentum that’s been building since 2025, a year that included a sold-out headline show at The Shrine in Los Angeles and a collaboration with Tiesto that became the most-played dance record on U.S. radio. He also played Coachella alongside Tiesto, plus Shambhala, EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Space Miami, and multiple Elrow dates. His remix of Sean Paul’s ‘Get Busy’ has since racked up a quarter of a billion streams on its own.
