Sullivan King, TRYM and Graphyt have linked up for ‘Rumble,’ a new single out now via Helix Records that pulls together hard techno, dubstep and metal into one track. The collaboration lands after all three artists spent the summer working through festival circuits around the world, and it shows in how road-ready the record already sounds.
‘Rumble’ runs on metal-tinged bass, high-BPM rave momentum and French-style sound design that leans hard into distortion. When the “When the Rumble Hits” vocal drops in, the track shifts into a dubstep breakdown that ramps up the intensity rather than easing off it. Both Sullivan King and TRYM had already been testing the record out live before its official release, so festival crowds got a preview before it hit streaming.
Sullivan King spent this summer making his headlining debut at Ultra Europe and became the first DJ booked to play Welcome To Rockville, a rock festival that doesn’t typically make room for electronic acts. ‘Rumble’ follows his ‘Push Up’ collaboration with T-Pain and Zoey808, released as part of T-Pain’s Bass Bootcamp era. King has built his career on merging dubstep with rock and metal, and his catalog includes previous work with Excision, NGHTMRE, Subtronics, Kayzo, SVDDEN Death, Slander, Timmy Trumpet and Shaquille O’Neal under his DJ Diesel alias, among others. More collaborations are reportedly lined up for the back half of 2026.
TRYM’s momentum has been building for a while now. ‘Rumble’ arrives on the heels of his single ‘Ow I Know’ and follows a run that included a live premiere of the track on the Atmosphere Stage at Tomorrowland this summer. He also played a hometown set in Paris to mark Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League win. TRYM is booked for Sziget and Ultra Japan later this year, continuing to build his profile as one of the more prominent names in the current wave of French hard techno. His catalog includes records like ‘R-301’ and ‘Sparkling System,’ along with remixes for Martin Solveig and Marshall Jefferson, and a back-to-back set with DJ Snake’s The Outlaw alias at Ultra that turned heads within the scene.
Graphyt rounds out the trio, contributing dubstep production chops to a track that otherwise leans heavily on rock and hard dance textures. The pairing reflects a broader trend of genre-blurring collaborations happening across heavier corners of electronic music right now, where the line between a rock pit and a rave floor keeps getting thinner.
