Following a successful run of releases from UK-based producers James Hurr and Loz Seka, FLAMENCA Records founder STBAN is back at the helm with his latest single, 'Habibi'. Officially released on April 10th, the track marks a significant moment for the label as it continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.

'Habibi' is a masterclass in percussive Afro-Latin House. The track serves as a collaborative effort between STBAN and two prominent figures in the Spanish music scene: DJ and percussionist Javi Torres and vocalist/DJ Alba Dreid. By blending the heat of Arabesque instrumentation and vocals with relentless, thundering basslines, the trio has crafted a genuine dance floor weapon.
The track's production reflects STBAN’s ongoing mission to fuse traditional flamenco elements with modern electronic textures, a signature sound that has become synonymous with the label's growing discography.
Meet the Artists
Javi Torres has established himself as a force in southern Europe and Latin America, known for his explosive sets that integrate live percussion. His work has garnered support from industry heavyweights including Martin Garrix, Alok, Jamie Jones, Hugel, and Roger Sanchez. Complementing this energy is Alba Dreid, who gained national recognition in Spain following her appearance on the RTVE program La Bien Cantá. Her dedication to bringing Spanish folklore to a global audience makes her the perfect collaborator for this project.
