When Miami’s most iconic terrace teams up with raw underground spaces, you know the city is in for something serious. Miami nightlife institution Club Space has officially begun teasing a multi-day event series dubbed the “Vice City Takeover.” The event links up with The Vault for a run scheduled from November 20th through November 22nd. Taking over Downtown Miami right as peak fall club season hits full stride, the three-day weekend promises to bring the marathon rave energy that Space has championed for decades. It brings that energy into a gritty new setting. With the date range falling directly over the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, the takeover is positioned to capture dance music tourists flocking down to South Florida’s warmer climate.
While details around the lineup remain tightly under wraps, the collaboration itself speaks volumes. Club Space has built a worldwide reputation on open-to-close journeys and marathon sunrise transitions on the Terrace. They are also known for an uncompromising standard for house and techno curation. Taking that identity into The Vault means fans can expect a darker, bass-heavy atmosphere designed for extended dancing. Additionally, it will be away from the typical bottle-service distractions of South Beach.
Whether that takeover brings in underground techno powerhouses or rolling tech-house heavyweights, the room is being primed to test the limits of Downtown’s sound system. This will happen all weekend long. It offers seasoned clubbers an underground alternative before the winter rush of Art Basel arrives in December.
As with any high-profile Space pop-up or satellite party, demand is expected to push tickets to an immediate sellout. The club has confirmed that priority presale will route through their Invader Access community. This gives registration members the first crack at passes across all three dates before public release. If you are planning to be in South Florida from November 20th to 22nd, get your notifications set and lock in your presale signups now. This is shaping up to be one of November’s essential Miami club runs.
