Wax Motif Announces Biggest LA Headline Show at Grand Park

Wax Motif is staging the biggest headline show of his career in Los Angeles, bringing his signature House of Wax brand to Grand Park on Friday, September 25. The outdoor event, presented by Insomniac Events, marks the largest production the House of Wax brand has mounted to date.

The show will debut a new audiovisual setup built specifically for the occasion, featuring visuals that have not been showcased at any previous Wax Motif performance. Fans can also expect a live preview of unreleased material, along with special guest appearances that have yet to be revealed. Supporting performers for the night are still to be announced.

The Grand Park date follows the release of House of Wax II, Wax Motif’s sophomore album and one of the more collaboration-heavy projects of his catalog. The record brings together 24hrs, Ty Dolla $ign, ZHU, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jozzy, Maeta, MC Lan, and GTA, among others, threading house music through hip-hop, R&B, and club sounds pulled from around the globe. It is the kind of genre-crossing approach that has become his calling card over the past few years.

Born Daniel Chien in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, Wax Motif has built a career on blurring the lines between house music and mainstream R&B and hip-hop production. He co-produced Ty Dolla $ign’s TYCOON, an album that hit No. 1 in more than 80 countries within a day of release, and he has worked behind the scenes with Kanye West, Timbaland, G-Eazy, and Tinashe. He also linked up with Matroda for the Waxtroda project, which sold out its debut show at Brooklyn Mirage.

This year has already been a heavy one for Wax Motif, capped by a set at EDC Las Vegas 2026 that mixed House of Wax II cuts with unreleased tracks and recent singles. The Grand Park show looks to build on that momentum with a bigger stage and a longer look at where his sound is headed next.

He has picked up support over the years from artists like Dom Dolla, John Summit, Chris Lake, Solomun, and MEDUZA, and his catalog has racked up tens of millions of streams across platforms. The House of Wax series has become one of the more consistent touring brands in dance music, and this Grand Park date is being billed as its biggest showing yet.

Tickets for House of Wax Los Angeles at Grand Park on September 25 are available now.
