This highly anticipated run of shows marks his return to the stage following the release of his fifth studio album of the same name, which is available now via Ophelia Records. For over a decade, Bayer has established himself as one of the most innovative minds in electronic dance music, consistently pushing the boundaries of progressive trance and beyond.
A New Chapter in Sound
Released on September 4, A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home serves as a deeply personal milestone for the artist. The project was shaped by significant life transitions, including grief, transformation, and the joy of parenthood. Written and produced at his home in Potomac, Maryland, the album reflects a period where Bayer stepped away from the touring circuit to welcome his first son, Wesley, into the world, allowing his creative vision to evolve in a more intimate environment.
The album continues the legacy of an artist who has spent years defying genre constraints. From his 2011 debut It’s Artificial to the ambitious two-part project Duality, Bayer has consistently demonstrated his range as a songwriter and producer. Tour Dates and Performances
Andrew Bayer is now ready to bring this new chapter to audiences across North America. The tour kicks off in his hometown on December 4 at 45 East in Portland, followed by a performance at Celebrities in Vancouver on December 5. He will return to Toronto for a special show at The Mod Club on December 30, followed by a New Year’s Eve performance. The West Coast leg of the tour will take place in January, featuring stops at Gods & Monsters in San Francisco and Academy in Los Angeles.
