Los Angeles-based producer duo ARMNHMR have joined forces with Swedish singer-songwriter Oaks for the new single ‘Falling,’ out now via Lost In Dreams Records. The track marks a bold new direction for the duo, delivering a more mature, intentional sound while staying true to the cinematic melodic bass and deeply personal songwriting that have earned them one of dance music’s most passionate fan communities.
‘Falling’ is a melodic house cut built around Oaks’ striking vocals, which capture the slow, painful spiral of being at odds with a former lover. It opens dark and moody before shifting into a driving dance groove packed with heavy bass and bright synths—designed to hit just as hard in a late-night club as it does on a mainstage.
ARMNHMR have amassed over 100 million streams, sold out headline shows across North America, and performed at major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland. The pair debuted on Lost In Dreams in June with ‘Find A Way,’ which has drawn 138.5k streams and support from Illenium and Adventure Club. Since 2020 they’ve released two full-length projects—The Free World and Together As One—featuring collaborations with Luma, Micah Martin, Lights, Nevve, KARRA, Britt Lari, and Dia Frampton. They are currently preparing for a yet-to-be-announced 20+ date Fall North American Album Tour expected to move upwards of 30,000 tickets.
Based in Stockholm, Oaks is the electronic-music alias of Swedish singer-songwriter Winona Oaks—an alter-ego that allows her to fully immerse herself in the genre. Her captivating voice and poetic lyricism have made her a go-to collaborator for prominent dance music tastemakers. She first appeared on Lost In Dreams this year with ‘Mirage’ alongside Jason Ross (featured on his True North album), which has pulled in 916.2k streams and support from William Black, Illenium, Cuebrick, and Frank Walker. Since launching the Oaks project in 2023 she has surpassed 351 million combined streams, with high-profile releases alongside The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Andrew Bayer, BUNT., Sam Feldt, and Robin Schulz.
“We’ve been fans of Oaks for years, so getting to write with her on ‘Falling’ felt like a full-circle moment,” ARMNHMR said. “This record marks the start of a new chapter for us, both in our sound and in who we are as artists. We wanted to make music that feels more grown-up and intentional, something that can hit just as hard in a dark club at 2am as it does on a main stage in front of thousands of people. ‘Falling’ is the first real look at where ARMNHMR is headed.”
Oaks added: “This song lives in that late night space where the city keeps moving around you but your mind keeps circling back to the same person. It’s about following a feeling you can’t quite outrun—even when you know it might pull you somewhere you shouldn’t go.”
