It is a peak moment for the global electronic music industry as ADE returns, and for producers MEETCH and TLUXX, it serves as the perfect backdrop to unveil their latest collaboration, Thunder. Featuring the evocative vocals of Carly Lind, Thunder is a masterclass in classic progressive house, defined by warm melodic textures and driving percussion that demand repeat listens.

A Progressive House Masterpiece

The track is built upon a foundation of rolling synths and deep, rhythmic percussion. These elements provide a solid base for the high-end syncopated rhythms and lush pads that give the composition its expansive, cinematic feel. Carly Lind’s dreamy vocal performance floats effortlessly over the production, injecting a “hands in the air” energy that positions the track perfectly for main stage environments.

Both producers demonstrate a refined sense of maturity, allowing the track to breathe rather than overwhelming the listener with constant intensity. This strategic use of space allows the tension to build naturally, mirroring the anticipation of a storm before the release of the drop.

The Creative Vision Behind the Music

Reflecting on the inspiration for the track, MEETCH explains, “Thunder is like a memory of the good and bad times with ex-partners and friendships. Early days in new relationships have so much rush and excitement, but like a storm, it eventually calms down. It just depends on how you look at it.”

TLUXX notes the seamless nature of the production process, adding, “Writing this vocal with Carly was a flawless collaboration. We wanted to create a hybrid house and progressive house track for our upcoming battle, ‘Pulse Theory vs Robotic Rumble,’ and we achieved exactly that.”

Carly Lind shares that the lyrics were born from personal reflection: “I was thinking about my past relationships and how people never appreciate everything you do until you’re gone. I brought those lyrics to them, and they just ran with it.”

A Collaborative Force at ADE

The release of Thunder coincides with a significant moment for both artists, who recently joined forces at ADE for a special pop-up event. By merging their respective imprints—MEETCH’s Robotic Rumble and TLUXX’s Pulse Theory—the duo hosted an exclusive showcase at Amsterdam’s Bar Bacan, featuring a lineup of rising talent.

Thunder by TLUXX, MEETCH, and Carly Lind is available now on Pulse Theory.
